In alignment with the opulent theme of the 'Alchemist's Feast', our team of calligraphers curated a style befitting the prestige of this remarkable event.
Development
Collaborating closely on the brief, we created a bespoke script style to be approved by The National Gallery and the headline event sponsor Burberry. We then liaised with the event creative director to ensure that our work integrated seamlessly down to the smallest detail. We even went the extra mile by mixing calligraphy inks to match the printer's sophisticated grey ink perfectly.
The Gallery entrusted us with their confidential list of VVIP guests, enabling us to flawlessly write out 850 invitations and envelopes in our studio. With meticulous attention to detail, we ensured accuracy and consistency, meeting tight deadlines.
The event marked a resounding success for the team, drawing an impressive array of household names, prominent figures from the art world, and generous donors.

Results
Following the National Gallery summer party, there was a special celebration for the staff. We hosted and facilitated a Modern Calligraphy workshop for employees from both the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery.

It served as a fitting conclusion to an outstanding project, bringing the teams together through an enjoyable introduction to the art of modern calligraphy.
