Our monthly Calligraphy Drop-In Sessions in East Wittering, West Sussex, are designed as relaxed, open studio days where you can carve out dedicated time to work on your calligraphy, without pressure or a set agenda.

Our drop-in sessions are relaxed, open studio mornings designed to give you dedicated time to sit down and actually make something. They aren’t formal classes and there’s no set project. You can bring along whatever you’re currently working on, revive a half-finished piece you never quite completed, or choose inspiration from our back catalogue of Calligraphy Club projects. A tutor will be present to answer questions, offer gentle guidance and help you through any sticking points, while still allowing you the freedom to work at your own pace.

The sessions are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced calligraphers, and are as much about the environment as the learning. You’ll be working overlooking the countryside around a shared table near the kitchen, with tea, coffee and encouragement always close at hand.
