Brush Pen is the free-spirited version of the nib!

Once you understand the basic principle, begin to experiment with brush pens. Just like with the nib, the thick and thin lines which make calligraphy distinctive are made by changing the pressure applied, but as brush pens have with less resistance against the page, they allow for expressive and loose styles at a larger scale than pointed nib calligraphy.
