We're looking forward to seeing you for our Instagram Live collaboration with FatFace on Wednesday April 7th at 7.30pm.

 

This relaxing and informal live class will last about an hour and we will show you how to create hand lettering that you can use as a mindful practice, and also to create your own cards, gift tags and artwork.

Modern lettering is dynamic and has energy, so our workshop will focus on this rather than getting every letter identical, so you can relax and create your own style. 

​

You will be guided step by step through how to use pens you already have at home to form dynamic modern lettering. You will finish by creating a hand-lettered artwork.

What you need:

• 4 or more pens

  • ​Felt tips, biros, highlighters, pencils, metallics and gel pens are all great. If you have calligraphy pens or other art materials such as paints, bring them along and give them a try!

• 5 to 10 sheets of paper: regular copier paper is fine.

• Optional but desirable: print out the pdf worksheets that you can download below.

 

To join the session, simply go to the FatFace Instagram profile at 7.30pm on Wednesday April 7th. The class will also be available to view afterwards on FatFace IGTV.
