10 week modern calligraphy course - beginner - intermediate level. 

Every Thursday morning- from 9th January 2020 to 19th March 2020 (Half Term Break - 20th February) 10am - 12.30pm

Each student will receive one of our Practice Pads, wooden pen holder, a pointed nib, as well as a dual tipped black brush pen.

Over the duration of the course, we will take a detailed look at the rules that govern traditional calligraphy, and why and when to break them! Experiment with pointed nibs, brushes & lots of other weird and wonderful calligraphy tools under the expert instruction of  Master calligrapher Kirsten Burke. Develop your calligraphy skills, what ever your level. By deconstructing alphabets, you will learn how to create your own unique style and adapt it whenever the mood takes you. You will be taught how to use a variety of different products; including masking fluid, metallic paints, foils and neon inks, to bring your calligraphy to life! You will learn to create all kinds of calligraphic pieces, using different techniques. So let’s break some rules, have some fun, and turn lettering into art.
