Join us for a New Year workshop and turn a single initial into a hand-painted card. Choose your own letter or paint one for someone special.

We’ll start with a bold letter outline, then draw a few lines across it to divide it into simple geometric shapes. You’ll paint each section in turn, playing with how much water you add to create a mix of pale washes and deeper shades. Fine pen lines and little slivers of white paper between the colours give the finished letter its stained-glass feel.

Book your place and start the year with creativity.

No previous experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. You’ll be working around our shared table in our light, welcoming studio overlooking the countryside, with tea and coffee close at hand. By the end of the session, you’ll have your own postcard monogram to take home.
