Join us for a relaxed yet inspiring two-and-a-half-hour creative escape, devoted to the art of hand-lettered cards and beautifully decorated envelopes. Perfect for beginners (and anyone keen to add a little extra charm to their stationery), this workshop will gently guide you through forming elegant alphabets, playful phrases, and thoughtful details that make every card feel truly special.

You’ll learn a series of simple, confidence-building drills that not only improve your lettering but double up as decorative elements for envelopes — so your post looks delightful before it’s even opened. Along the way, we’ll share plenty of tips on layout, spacing, and flourish, before bringing everything together as you design your own set of cards during the session.

All materials are provided, including cards, envelopes, worksheets, and step-by-step guidance from your tutor. You’ll leave with finished pieces, new skills, and a head full of ideas, ready to keep creating long after the workshop ends.

A lovely way to spend a couple of hours, unwind, and enjoy making something beautifully personal.

The workshop will take place in the Dining Room and is accessible via one flight of stairs.

All the materials you’ll need are provided and your worksheets are your to take home.
