About the Event
Calligrapher: Emily Goodwin
Join us and get into the festive spirit with this sparkling Christmas calligraphy workshop. Learn to use a nib to create beautiful gift tags, labels and Christmas cards - with a focus on fabulous metallics! This workshop is suitable for beginners.
This time of year can be so hectic, so why not come along and spend a few relaxed hours with us and enjoy learning a new skill at the same time! The workshop will begin with a demonstration, followed by a step-by-step tutorial on how to use a pointed nib to create beautiful modern calligraphy. Finally, you will explore how to add metallics and embellishments to your creations to really elevate them and add that Christmas feel.
All your worksheets, as well as a selection of original templates designed by Kirsten Burke, are yours to keep so you can use them again and again. Everything you need for the class will be provided.
Please bring a hot/cold drink with you as we will not have facilities to provide anything other than water.
There will be a small pop-up shop, stocking some of our favourite calligraphy supplies, including the items you will have used during your workshop, so that you can continue your calligraphy journey at home.
There is now the option to split your payment into 3 monthly instalments by using Clearpay at the checkout.
