You calligraphy kit will contain our jet black dual-tipped brush pen and two lovely coloured brush pens, as well as all your worksheets, alphabets and templates. 

This fabulous brush pen workshop is the perfect introduction to brush calligraphy. No experience is necessary and it doesn't matter if you are right-handed, left-handed, or have terrible handwriting!

We will start with a demo to show you how to use your brush pens, then we'll go through warm-up exercises to teach you the basics, practising letterforms and joining up letters. Follow along, completing your step-by-step worksheets, and receive the guidance and help of our Master Calligrapher Maisie Minett. 

Your tutor will explain how to create your own modern calligraphy style and you'll finish off the workshop by creating your own calligraphy piece with the help of our unique templates. Friendly and informative, you will be guided through each element, so that you are able to build up your skills quickly. There will be 5 minutes for additional Q&A's at the end of the workshop for anyone that would like to know more. 

System requirements

This workshop will be hosted via Zoom and you will be sent a 'Zoom invite' 3 days before the date of the workshop. All you need is a PC, Mac, laptop or tablet that has video and audio capabilities and a good wifi connection. If you opt for using a smartphone with the Zoom app, you will need a holder or somewhere to place it throughout the workshop so that your hands are free to do calligraphy and you may find it trickier to view the demonstrations at such a small size.
