This is one of our 'Beyond Beginner' workshops - perfect for calligraphy enthusiasts who want to take their lettering skills beyond the basics. It's aimed at those with some calligraphy experience already.

Learn to use masking fluid with a pointed nib and add coloured washes to your calligraphy to create beautiful card designs. The brightness that this method gives your lettering is far crisper than working over colour with white, and once you know the techniques you will be able to create colourful cards to send to all your family and friends.

Every session of this course will be recorded, so if you miss a week for any reason you will able to watch the recording to catch up!

An online workshop is a beautiful way to learn calligraphy, as you are able to watch your tutor demonstrate up close on your screen so that every letter stroke and movement of the pen and hand is magnified and easy to follow. Your Zoom invite will come with your booking email confirmation, and we'll send it to you again 3 days before your workshop in your reminder email. After you've booked please check your Spam folder in case the email ends up in there!

Your Kit

Tickets for this pointed nib calligraphy live-streamed workshop include a bottle of masking fluid, a set of our coloured inks, your worksheets, and heavy watercolour paper. You will need to have a pointed nib of your choice and a pen holder of your own & a light pad would be a good addition, but not essential. Your kit will be posted to you the week prior to your workshop.

No Kit Option

This ticket option does NOT include a kit. Worksheets and templates will be emailed.

Postage

Included within this ticket price is postage to the UK mainland only, no Islands or Highlands. For other UK and international locations, please email Emily at info@kirstenburke.co.uk with your name, address, workshop/course title, and date you would like to attend. She will be able to let you know the additional postage charge and eta for your kit via Royal Mail.

PLEASE NOTE Once your kit has been posted, workshop tickets are not refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
